Conjugate

Conjugate[z] gives the complex conjugate of the complex number z.

Examples

Complex conjugate of a number:

Conjugate[3 + 4 I]
(* 3 - 4 I *)

Conjugate of a purely imaginary number:

Conjugate[5 I]
(* -5 I *)

Real numbers are unchanged:

Conjugate[7]
(* 7 *)
